Mermaid Mask is a deeply hydrating botanical mask made with aloe vera, coconut milk, and locally harvested California seaweeds to replenish moisture and leave skin feeling soft, calm, and dewy. Unlike clay masks that draw oil from the skin, Mermaid focuses on restoring hydration and supporting the skin barrier.

Bladderwrack, kombu, and Turkish towel seaweeds are naturally rich in minerals and polysaccharides that help skin hold onto moisture, while aloe and coconut milk soften and comfort thirsty skin.

Mix with water for a refreshing cleanser or leave on as a nourishing treatment mask when your skin is craving a long drink.

 Mix a small amount with warm water to create a creamy paste.

Is Mermaid Mask good for acne-prone skin?
Yes. Mermaid Mask is lightweight and non-comedogenic, making it a great option for acne-prone skin that also needs hydration. If your skin is primarily oily or congested, Pimple Mud may be a better choice.
Can I use it as an overnight mask?
We recommend rinsing Mermaid Mask off after about 20 minutes. For an overnight moisture ritual, follow with Moon Milk and a layer of All Cream to help lock hydration into the skin.
Is this a cleanser or a mask?
Both. Mix it thinner for a gentle daily cleanser or thicker for a deeply hydrating treatment mask.
What skin types is Mermaid Mask best for?
Mermaid Mask shines on dry, dehydrated, sensitive, or mature skin that needs hydration more than exfoliation or oil absorption.
What makes Mermaid Mask different from Pimple Mud?
Mermaid Mask replenishes moisture and supports the skin barrier with aloe and mineral-rich seaweeds. Pimple Mud is designed to absorb excess oil and clarify congested skin. Together, they balance opposite ends of the skincare spectrum.
