BRING FAT AND THE MOON TO YOUR CAMPUS
Our Student Ambassador Program is for college students who dig Fat and the Moon and want to share the plant magic with the communities they’re already part of.
This isn’t your standard influencer program. You don’t need a huge following, a perfectly curated feed, or a monthly posting schedule. We’re much more interested in real people, real relationships, and the creative ways Fat and the Moon can show up in campus life.
Share your favorite products with friends. Bring samples to your on-campus club. Table at an event. Make fun videos. Host a self-care night. Dream up something we haven’t thought of yet.
There’s no one right way to be a Student Ambassador.

Got something brewing on campus? Tell us about it.
Student Ambassadors can request support for qualifying campus events, clubs, organizations and other community happenings. Depending on the event, we may be able to hook you up with things like product samples, raffle donations, educational materials or other goodies.
Think club meetings, campus wellness events, clothing swaps, herbal gatherings, fundraisers, giveaways, workshops, tabling, or whatever strange and wonderful thing your community is getting into.
Pitch us your idea. We like ideas.
WHAT DOES A STUDENT AMBASSADOR DO?
That part is intentionally pretty open.
You might:
- Share your community discount code
- Tell your friends about a product you genuinely love
- Post about FATM on social
- Make photos, videos or other UGC
- Bring samples or product education to a club or student organization
- Table at a campus event
- Include FATM in a campus giveaway
- Host a self-care or herbalism gathering
- Share a launch or sale
- Come to us with your own weird/fun campus idea
You don't have to do all of these. The point is to find ways of sharing Fat and the Moon that actually make sense for you and your community.
WHO CAN APPLY?
You’re welcome to apply if you:
- Are 18 or olderAre currently enrolled at a college, university, community college or other accredited higher-ed institution in the U.S.
- Have a valid .edu email address or another way to verify current enrollment
- Are genuinely interested in Fat and the Moon, herbalism, sustainable body care, community care or the worlds surrounding them
- Want to introduce Fat and the Moon to your campus or community in some capacity
This program is about community, not clout.
WHAT WE ASK FROM YOU
We want this program to stay flexible, but being a Student Ambassador does mean being an active participant.
We ask that you share Fat and the Moon within your campus or community in ways that feel natural to you, represent the brand and our products genuinely and accurately, and participate in the program in some capacity.
You’ll also need to remain actively enrolled at a qualifying higher-ed institution while participating in the Student Ambassador Program.

Our Student Ambassador Program is a community-focused program for college students who want to bring Fat and the Moon into their campus communities. Ambassadors can share FM through word of mouth, social media, clubs, events, organizations, giveaways, gatherings, or whatever creative ideas they cook up.
Students must be 18+, based in the U.S., and currently enrolled at a college, university, community college, or other accredited higher-ed institution. We’ll ask for a valid .edu email address or another form of enrollment verification. At this time, the Student Ambassador Program is only open to students based in the U.S.
Nope! There is no follower minimum. This is a community ambassador program, not an influencer program. We’re much more interested in genuine enthusiasm for Fat and the Moon and how you’re connected to your campus community.
There’s no required number of posts or prescribed way to participate. We just ask that you actively share Fat and the Moon within your campus or community in some capacity. That could mean sharing your discount code, introducing friends to FM, making content, getting involved with a campus event or organization, hosting a gathering, or pitching us an idea of your own.
Student Ambassadors receive a welcome gift card, 30% off personal restocks, a 15% community discount code, and 15% commission on purchases made through their code or link. You’ll also have opportunities for campus event support and the possibility of being featured on Fat and the Moon’s social channels or emails.
You’ll earn 15% commission on eligible purchases made through your unique community code or referral link. Your community gets 15% off, and you get a little something for spreading the word. Win/win!
Potentially, yes! If you’re participating in a campus event, club, organization, giveaway, gathering, or other activation, send us the details. Student Ambassadors can request things like samples, raffle donations, educational materials, or other product support for qualifying events.
PLEASE DO. Herbalism club? Clothing swap? Self-care night? Campus giveaway? Something wonderfully weird we haven't thought of? We want to hear about it. Part of the fun of this program is seeing what our Student Ambassadors come up with.
Not at all. Your major doesn’t matter. We’re looking for students who genuinely connect with Fat and the Moon, herbalism, sustainable body care, community care, or what we’re up to in the world.
Your time in the Student Ambassador Program will come to an end once you’re no longer actively enrolled, but that doesn’t necessarily mean goodbye! Student Ambassadors may have the opportunity to transition into our Friends of Fat and the Moon ambassador community after graduation.
